FINLAND HOUSE HAMBURG

Rebuilding and renovation of office space

In renovating our rental space in the rooms formerly occupied by the Finnish consulate on the 8th above-ground floor of “Finnlandhaus”, a historically protected building from the 1960s and one of the world’s few “suspended” buildings, we strictly adhered to a systematic approach. Elevated floor panels on a wooden sub-floor exactly replicate the pattern of the existing modular facade and structural framework. In addition, the interior design is reserved and abstract, featuring Finnish birch, glass, and white taffeta, which creates an almost surreally light effect of floating at cloud level.
